Five Years ago, I wrote a poem on my WordPress blog for my mother. Today, Jan 15th 2023, would have been her 63 birthday but she was plucked away by the cruel hands of time, too soon. This weekend, I had the opportunity to utilize Chat GPT an Artificial Intelligence model that is trained to chat in the conversational style. Using the Chat GPT, I did the analysis of a the poem and was impressed! The image in this blog is created by DALL.E. I have included links to poetry foundation and poet’s pages where a reference to another poet has been made.
Magical Woman Poem Analysis using Chat GPT
Provide a detailed analysis of the writing style and themes in the poem:
I once knew a truly magical woman
She would caress
Your tangled hair and
Put you to sleep
She would touch
Your burning forehead and
Cure a fever
She would hug
You and absorb all
The pain
She would listen and love,
Keep your secrets and
Never judge
There was gentleness
In every atom of
Her being
She had so much
Grace and beauty in
Her bones
She was generous and
Forgiving, kind
And beautiful
I once knew a truly magical woman
She was a healer
She was a teacher
I once knew a truly magical woman
She was my Queen
She was my Mother

Analysis of another poem I wrote for my mother
Poem: My Mother, A Fragrance
My Mother
Is an eternal rose
Her beauty can not be dulled
By death,
The glow of her complexion
Lavender-
The perfume of her presence
She is
the essence of the Lilies
Pure perfection
of the Violet & the Dasies
I cannot see my Mother
Anymore
But I know she is there
Because
of all the fragrance
Around me!
