Throw away curtains, drapes and lace
All you need is a dog and a fireplace
Because if you have a dog with that face
You will do anything to win his grace

You will let him drive your new car in a race
Even sit beside him as he drives as in this case

The best couch in the house is his place
Because you can’t say no to that face

He is the boss, it is his space
He is the king! dog with that face!!
Challenge today was to write a poem using Skeltonic verse. The lines rhyme, but there’s not a rhyme scheme per se. The poet simply rhymes against one word until he or she gets bored and moves on to another.
