I once knew a truly magical woman
She would caress
Your tangled hair and
Put you to sleep
She would touch
Your burning forehead and
Cure a fever
She would hug
You and absorb all
The pain
She would listen and love,
Keep your secrets and
Never judge
There was gentleness
In every atom of
Her being
She had so much
Grace and beauty in
Her bones
She was generous and
Forgiving, kind
And beautiful
I once knew a truly magical woman
She was a healer
She was a teacher
I once knew a truly magical woman
She was my Queen
She was my Mother
